Job Summary
We are looking for Oracle APEX Developers with demonstrated expertise in Oracle APEX (20.x – 23.x), ORDS REST APIs, and advanced PL/SQL programming. Possess additional hands-on experience with Oracle Forms & Reports (11g/12c) and Jasper Reports, enabling seamless modernization of legacy applications. Skilled in delivering scalable, secure, and business-critical applications, while ensuring smooth integration with enterprise systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications with robust and scalable architecture.
• Build, publish, and secure REST APIs using ORDS for seamless integration with third-party and enterprise systems.
• Provide development and maintenance support for Oracle Forms & Reports applications as needed.
• Develop and integrate Jasper Reports for business and operational reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with HRMS, Payroll, and Finance teams to deliver functional and technical solutions.
• Lead the migration of legacy reports into APEX or Jasper Reports as part of modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to the development team on Oracle APEX, ORDS, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, development standards, troubleshooting, implementation and reporting solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, architectural standards, and efficient delivery of projects.
Qualifications
• Education: B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, MCA, or equivalent
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in Oracle APEX Development
Technical Skills Required
• Oracle APEX: Advanced APEX development (Collections, Dynamic Actions, Interactive Grids/Charts, JavaScript & AJAX).
• ORDS: REST API design and publishing, PL/SQL exposure as services, OAuth2 implementation, JSON handling.
• Oracle Forms & Reports: Development, customization, migration, and maintenance (11g/12c).
• Jasper Reports: Design and development of printable business reports, integration with Oracle Database and APEX.
• Oracle Database 19c: Expertise in SQL & PL/SQL (packages, procedures, triggers), performance optimization, and query tuning.
• Integration: Strong experience integrating with external systems via REST/JSON and SOAP services.
• Tools & Deployment: Git, WebLogic, Tomcat, and related deployment environments.
